Hello everyone, I hope you're well!
I know I've been naughty.. I've said the C word and its not december yet!
The other day I went to tesco to do my regular food shop, whilst I was in there I thought I would look at the candles to see if they had any decent ones, and as christmas is so close I decided to pick up the spiced berry one - I'm so glad I did. It smells ah-mazing. It's making me even more excited for december, colder weather, christmas markets, ice rinks and present buying!
The best thing about this candle is that it's only £2! They had a bigger one similar to the Yankee jars for £6 but I opted for a smaller one. Tesco have a whole range of scented candles all in different sizes ranging from tea lights to the jars. I was going to post a link to them but
every single scented candle is sold out! I'm sure they will have stock in store so if you get a chance, check them out!
~~What scents do you enjoy in winter?
Hi guys, hope you're well!
I just wanted to recommend my favourite autumn nail varnish, now that the leaves have fallen. For me it's the perfect autumn colour. i rarely wear dark colours on my nails so i never normally paint my nails during winter. However i wear this colour a lot. I think it works in all seasons but I prefer it for autumn. It's dark enough to replicate the colder months but not too dark for me. It's called 'raspberry' and it's by Barry-M.
I used 2 coats to get a good opaque colour. As with all Barry-M nail varnishes they last a good while with a top coat and their range of colours are gorgeous.
What are your favourite Autumn nail colours?
Hi guys, Today I am reviewing Velvet teddy by Mac. I've owned it for a while now and have had a good amount of time to use it and get to know what it's like.
So first of all there's no point commenting on packaging because who doesn't love Mac's bullets? The colour itself is a beautiful pinkish nude. On the swatch it looks like a rose colour.
As you can see it is a matte lipstick which is my favourite! However it still has a really creamy formula and glides on really well. It's one of those "I'm not wearing any lipstick" colours which i love as it goes with most looks. I also love how opaque it is, in the pictures I am only wearing one layer and only swatched one layer. You may also be able to see that like most matte lipsticks it can sometimes cling to dry skin so make sure to exfoliate your lips and prep them before wearing it.
I would say that the only con with this lipstick is it's staying power. Compared to my russian red which I could wear through a storm and it wouldn't budge, I feel like I am constantly aware that I may need to top it up soon. I would say its staying power is around 2 hours and needs topping up after eating and drinking.
However, to combat this I believe it would be great with a good lip liner, most people that own this wear it with the whirl lipliner as recommended by Kylie Jenner so maybe I will invest in a lip liner and see if it improves!
Overall I am smitten with this lipstick and definitely think it's worth the purchase, no matter what your skin tone is.
~~Do you own velvet teddy? Do you use a lip liner with it and do you have any recommendations?
Hey guys, on pinterest lately I've been loving baking posts and costume ones as halloween is so near... I hope you enjoy these pins and get some inspiration yourself.
Creative cupcakes!
The
shoe cupcakes appeared on my homepage and I couldn't believe how creative they were! So since then I haven't stopped looking at amazing cupcake ideas. In the process of being obsessed I also found these
burger ones, I thought it was such a unique idea and had to share it. It has inspired me to do some baking...
Halloween costumes!
With halloween only 2 weeks away I've been looking at interesting ideas as to what to dress up and in the process I found this post which was
"33 Magical disney costumes". I love these because they are not the obvious characters you would normally pick. They also don't have to be just for halloween which is a bonus. My favourite is definitely Emperor Kuzco but I'm also in love with the Queen of hearts costume.
Halloween Make-up!
One pin I have loved is a post by
Popsugar. Halloween can be very expensive so going as a skeleton is great if you're on a budget. The only face paint you need is black and white, and if you cant afford a costume, once again you can just wear black and white or even draw on your own bones. I love all the looks on this post as they are all individual and different. There is definately something to suit everyone and a look for all skill levels.
~~What have you been pinning lately? What are your plans for halloween?
Hi guys, hope you're well. the leaves are falling off the trees and the temperature is dropping, therefore autumn is officially here! As with any new season there are always new products and clothes I lust after so here's a post on them.
1) Autumn coat
I've been eyeing up coats like these for a while, I love that they are fashionable whilst still being practical. I'm currently loving beige and nude tones so think if I am to buy one it will probably of similar colour to the one in the picture.
2) Daytime Dress/Playsuit
Once the weather starts to get cooler I always find it difficult to still have a nice outfit due to layering up so much! So I would like do get a nice dress or playsuit that you can wear with tights and boots and still be cosy.
3) Scarf
I love these beige tartan scarves, because they can dress up plain outfits. I normally wear a lot of black and white too so this scarf would be perfect.
4) Hat
Hats are an autumn/winter staple. I don't own any plain ones so would like to get a plain black beanie for the colder weather.
5) Boots
I've never owner leather knee boots before and always made do with wearing trainers as it gets cooler. So I think these will be the first thing I buy. Leather boots not only look gorgeous but are practical too.
6 Berry Lipstick
Of
course you can't go into fall with out beautiful berry shades of lipstick! I only have one berry-ish shade of lipstick and it's not very dark. I would like to be adventurous this fall and treat myself to something darker toned! If you have any recommendations do let me know in the comments!

What items do you think are essential for autumn? Do you have any similar recommendations for the items above?
Hello guys, I thought it would be nice to do a weekly post on something that makes me happy, it's nice to appreciate little things in life and hope it can be relatable to you in some way.
So without further ado.. Something that makes me happy is a good cup of tea. Of course this has to be the first one I do, I
love tea!
It's on those days when you've been working, at school/college/uni, you're tired, it's cold and you're travelling home in the miserable weather. you get home, you put your cosy clothes on and you snuggle up in bed/or on the sofa, and a cup of tea is the perfect thing to warm you up.
Is there any little things in life that cheer you up and make you happy?
